4 Methods For A More Festive Brochure Design

Clueless for holiday brochure printing designs? Do not worry it is easy to make your brochure printing more festive and tuned to the holiday season. Let me give you give easy tips on how to do this using your computer and some design software. Just read on below and see if you can do it for your own color brochure design.

1. Change your font style to festive themes.

The easiest way to make festive looking color brochures is to just change the font style. From the practical simple fonts, you should consider more artful fonts that are ideal for the yuletide season. You can try searching the Internet for a few free holiday font styles to use. It is best to use these artful styles in your brochure title and the headings and subheadings, while you use normal and clear cut fonts on the main content. This will add that festive atmosphere to your brochure printing, without taking away the clarity of the main body of text.

2. Change your color scheme for the season.

Another easy way to make your design festive is to just change your colors. From black and white, go for green and red. Or you can go for various festive combinations such as red and gold, green and silver or combinations of all four colors. You should use the lighter colors as backgrounds while the darker colors for text ideally. But you can of course invert the scheme swapping the light and the dark colors with each other. Whatever the case, any change in color really changes the 'feeling' or 'emotions' of the brochure giving it a nice and joyful aura just perfect for the holidays.

3. Change the background with festive elements.

If colors and fonts are not your style, you can also just change the background. From a plain color background you can actually make things more festive by adding small repeating symbols of the holiday season. Light watermarks of snowflakes, gifts, wreaths, Santa Claus and a myriad of other holiday symbols can work wonders. People will know your color brochures will indeed be in holiday mode with that simple change of background.

4. Use a holiday centerpiece.

Now, if you want to be a little bit direct, you can actually just stick a holiday centerpiece smack dab into the center cover panel of your color brochure. Adding a Christmas tree, Reindeer and some elves can really get attention and will add to the jolly mood. You may also want to add your own logo or mascot with trimmings of something festive to let people know you are really into the season. Just by adding this centerpiece and nothing else, you should be able to project good cheer with your custom brochures with little trouble.

Use these four separately or even in combination and you won't have to worry about a festive design. These ideas are simple and easy to do and almost anyone, including yourself can do it with a few clicks on your design software. So good luck with printing your holiday color brochures. It should be easy now.
